Marbella The center of Marbella, with "El Casco Antiguo" – the old town with the famous "Plaza de los Naranjos" – is the most famous and visited area year-round by tourists, enjoying the special warm Spanish atmosphere, with a variety of small shops, restaurants, and luxury boutiques. The "Golden Mile" starts at the western end of Marbella center and stretches to Puerto Banús. The Golden Mile offers a wide range of shopping centers, restaurants, five-star hotels, and other amenities. Puerto BanĂşs / Nueva AndalucĂa / La Quinta (part of La Quinta)
Puerto Banús is located just west of Marbella, before reaching the small town of San Pedro de Alcántara. This internationally renowned marina attracts tourists year-round. With the mountains in the background and sea views, the setting is almost perfect. It features luxury clothing stores and high-end restaurants, as well as nightclubs, bars, and cafés. You have to see it to feel the unique atmosphere of this place!

Nueva AndalucĂa is located just beyond Puerto BanĂşs. It is an exclusive residential area, home to the weekly market, shopping centers, and several golf courses such as Los Naranjos, Aloha, and Las Brisas Golf. The area is lush and offers stunning views of the sea and golf courses. Further into the hills lies the prestigious La Quinta Golf Club (27 holes), surrounded by spacious villas and apartments, as well as the famous five-star hotel “Westin La Quinta”.
North of Marbella / Istán / Monda
Istán is a small, picturesque village just a few kilometers from Marbella and Puerto Banús. While much of the coast is fully developed, Istán has preserved its original Andalusian charm. Its proximity to Puerto Banús marina makes the village and its surroundings a highly sought-after residential area, even for owners of luxury villas.
The village of Monda, with approximately 1,750 inhabitants, is located 20 km north of Marbella. As one of Andalusia’s traditional “white villages,” it is surrounded by attractive mountain scenery and provides easy access to the coast, making it an ideal place to experience authentic Andalusian life.
